    Many buyers are unaware that rebates on the broker commission
    and bonuses are negotiable items in a real estate transaction.  
    This is an arrangement that should be negotiated early on and
    put in writing to protect the consumer.  Buyers should whey their
    options with care when deciding on using an agent or broker that
    offers rebates to buyers on their services.  After all a first time
    buyer often needs a lot of support and guidance when going
    through the home buying process.

    Remember your agent is there help protect your interest.  The
    last thing you need to worry about is weather or not your agent is
    working hard or moving on to find another deal to replace the
    income they lost on you.  

    I offer all my buyers the option of taking half of my bonus if
    offered by the seller on any deal up front in writing.  These
    bonuses often reach as high as 2%-4% of the sales price leaving
    the buyer with 1%-2% cash back.  I pay all my rebates after
    funding.
