Radiant Barrier is worth the upgrade expense

Posted January 10th, 2011 by Administrator and filed in Buyer Tips

Radiant Barrier is worth the upgrade expense when building a home from scratch or updating. With each and every home I contract to build with my buyers radiant barrier is one upgrade I always suggest getting. This radiant barrier comes in foil, spray and is also available as part of the decking of the roof. Add in radiant barrier is lot cheaper to add during the building process so make this one of the first upgrades in your budget. Living here in south Texas many people would consider this a no brainer. I agree. For more information on what radiant barrier can do to cut down on the cooling of your home check out the video from www.atticfoil.com

VA Loans and Texas Vet Loans

Posted January 3rd, 2011 by Administrator and filed in Buyer Tips, Finance, mortgage

VA loans and Texas vet loans are among the best loans a qualifying purchaser can get for a home. Both loans allow for a zero down purchase of a home and have special requirments for new home purchases. The main difference between the two loans is the Texas Vet program offers a lower interest rate. Residency restrictions do apply but before you write it off as something that is not possible for you be sure to contact a loan officer that specializes in Texas Vet loans to confirm. Below I have included an informative video by www.texasvetloansva.com with some basic information.
